The Weevr Points Wallet houses both your Hiring and Promotion Rewards. Click here to learn more about Weevr Points.
Weevr points are 100 points = $1 CAD. Points are assigned to positions. When an activity is completed that has a points allotment those points are transferred into your Weevr Points Wallet. You can then use them to redeem amazing rewards.
Companies have the option to assign Weevr points to incentivize each step in the hiring process. When a referrer refers a candidate that progresses through the hiring process they are given points. Those points can then be redeemed for amazing rewards like Tango gift cards and days off.
Hiring rewards are a lump sum payment of cash or Weevr points (that can then be used to redeem rewards) from the company to the referrer when their candidate is successfully hired.
Pro Tip: Award the Hiring rewards as soon as the hire has accepted the job, instead of after probation, to increase engagement. Everyone loves instant rewards!
Once you’ve created a link for a job it’s removed from recent postings. You can still view ALL open jobs under your Positions tab!
Company Questions
This is a very simple process. Your dedicated Customer Success Manager will help set you up.
Could this be more simple? We think not.
There are two ways to post a position. From the Dashboard and Positions tabs. On both pages, you will find a blue button on the top right-hand corner “+Add”. Select this button and Weevr will walk you through the three simple steps to posting the perfect position.
You will notice there are two points pots: Hiring and Promotion
- Hiring Points Pot: This reward is given to the referrer that referred the candidate that was hired.
- Promotion Pot: This fund is what will set your HR team apart from all others! Use this reward to give incremental incentives throughout the hiring process.
- Select whether you will pay the Hiring Reward in $ (through your existing payroll system) or in Weevr points.
- Type in the desired $ value of the hiring reward OR the number of Weevr points.
- Select if you would like to pay out the full amount of rewards now, later or both.
- For your promotion points pot select the desired referral activities (use as many or as few as you’d like) and add the number of points for each activity.
- You can also limit the number of rewards paid out to referrers to make sure you stay within your budget.
- Once you are happy with the values in each pot click the blue next button to review your position before publishing.
Let's get the word out! Invite your company's referral network to share your new positions. Follow these three simple steps below to get your referrers started on the right path:
- Send them the link that your customer success rep provided you to get them started.
- Remind them to use their company email address to sign up.
- Direct your new user to a position you think they would have a great referral for by messaging them on Slack (or whichever internal communications tool you use).
We recommend double checking, nay, triple checking your work. Once a position has been published the only editable option is to increase the incentives.
Some jobs may get more traction than others. We’ve made it easy for you to go in and add to both the promotion rewards pot and reward levels to drive leads, AND also the hiring reward pot.
Once you publish a job opportunity you can increase the pots (maybe you need to top it up).
- Go to your Dashboard and select the desired position.
- Select Manage then manage rewards at the top right-hand side of the page.
- On your Dashboard page scroll down until you see recent position.
- Click the blue Update button to move individual candidates through the hiring funnel.
- Once a successful candidate has been hired select hired from the drop down menu and the open positions status will be changed to closed.

- Go to Dashboard.
- Click on the position.
- Click Manage - Remove position.
- Located at the top of the right-hand side of the page.
- Apply reason code:
- We filled the job outside of Weevr
- Hire internally
- Job no longer exists
- Other
- Remove offer.
- Note: Funds will be refunded back into your wallet
- The position will be moved from active posting to the closed positions tab.
- An email will be sent to anyone who has copied a link advising this position is no longer available with the aforementioned reason code.
Referrer Common Questions
There are two ways to share a job. From your Dashboard and Position tabs.
Dashboard
- Scroll down until you reach recent positions.
- Select the blue share icon to the far right-hand side of the listed positions.
- Copy the unique link and share with your network via social, email or text.
- Click the blue share icon next to the desired positions listing OR
- Click view and a large blue “Share this job” button will be at the top of the positions description.
Whether you share from your Dashboard or your positions tab a unique link will be generated specific to your account. Once you share that link and a candidate applies, the company will know the referral came from you as your unique link was used.
- Go to your Points tab on the top right-hand side of the navigation bar.
- Select Redeem points.
- Select the gift card type you wish to redeem.
- Enter the number of points you wish to use for that gift card.
- Confirm the type and value of gift card to be redeemed.
- Once confirmed you will receive an email notification with the gift card attached.
